The library will be closed on Sunday, April 16th for Easter.

 

Kathak is one of the ten major forms of Indian classical dance. Today, Divya Dinaker with Agni Dance will present a Kathak piece where she portrays Radha's yearning for Krishna. Radha is out fetching water as she indulges in her enjoyable memories with Krishna.  Ages 5 and up.

Join us for a presentation by Critterman. Meet animals from the jungles of India and beyond. Recommended for Ages 5 & up.

Join us for mindful bodies, listening, and breathing followed with mandala coloring. Small movements and gentle concentration of coloring draw us into the present moment.

Mowgli, an abandoned child raised by wolves, has his peaceful existence threatened by the return of the man-eating tiger Shere Khan. He must overcome his reluctance to leave his wolf family and return to the man village (Disney, 1967. Rated G).

Popcorn and lemonade will be served.

 

 

Agni Dance Company will bring an entertaining performance involving color and energy from Indian. After the performance, stay for a Dance Along.
