Have you wondered how the lamp in your room lights up when you turn ON the switch? If this question makes you curious, you will have fun in this class by following a story to explore the circuit world and working with motors, LED etc. Our only focus is that you have "fun with circuits" Come join us at the Laura's library on Saturday, Oct 4, 2014 anytime between 10:00am-12:00pm. Recommended for ages 6-10.
 

Picture of an open notebookCourtney Justus will be reading some poems of her own composition, along with a few chapters of her first novel, Promises Made, Kept and Broken, while giving her own insights and perspective based on her work. She is open to questions and requests regarding themes during the reading, as well as future poetry readings.

This is a volunteer opportunity for ages 13 and up.  It will last from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., but you are not required to stay the entire time.

Bring your creativity (required) and your sewing machine (optional) and create useful and beautiful bags.  Each meeting will focus on a specific design.
