A long-time homeschooling parent of three teens, Camille North is what most would call an "eclectic homeschooler," which basically means that she flies by the seat of her pants. She's currently homeschooling one child through middle school and two through high school, while preparing for the dreaded upcoming year of college applications. As a homeschooling parent, she runs the monthly support meeting and is a moderator for Austin Area Homeschoolers, an inclusive, informal group of homeschooling families in the central Texas area. While her time is mostly spent helping to organize a variety of endeavors, including co-ops, Science Team, and various study groups, her real skill is figuring out how to warp space-time to make sure her kids all get to their many educational, extracurricular, and social activities. Camille has a master's degree in biopsychology and is editor of the international monthly parenting newsletter "API Links." She spent her pre-mom life in scholarly publishing.
